Search Engines And Important Key Words

Posted by on Mar.23, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

Most people who own a blog or internet website want to receive higher rankings within the internet search engines. Search engine rankings are very important to any website or blog owner. Internet users in finding information about services and products utilize search engines. You need to understand how search engines work in order to achieve higher rankings for your blog or website.

You will need to utilize important keywords for your blog or website. Inputting keywords into your blog or website will allow internet users to find your products and services, which you are offering. Do not merely stock your blogs or website full of hundreds of keywords, this is frowned upon by search engines such as Google and will actually lower your rankings or even cause your site to be de-indexed and sent into internet oblivion.

Input good information often into your internet blogs. Search engines recognize fresh content supplied by your blog or website. This will drastically improve your rankings within the major search engines. Other website owners will more than likely want to link to your blog or website if they find that you are bringing in fresh and new content, which does attract new visitors. New visitors should always be considered possible customers.

Adding relevant web pages to your website is a great step in increasing your rankings within the major search engines. You want to achieve this because more internet users will be able to find you in such a way. You must be consistent with adding pages of good information to your website. This will eventually lead to more visitors, which will turn into more potential sales.

You will want to add an auto responder to your website. Mailing good content to people who subscribe to your website will increase the number of visitors to your website. Upon more people, visiting your website the ranking of your website will increase within the major search engines.

You can give offers of discounted or free products. People generally enjoy receiving incentives as well as discounts and free stuff. This will also aid in linking your mailing list to your website while attracting more people to your website. This is a wonderful marketing strategy, which can be utilized in increasing your rankings within the major search engines.

Submit your content to article directories. One such article directory is EzineArticles.com this is a wonderful, as well as a popular article directory which you can submit relevant information to in the form of articles. This will aid in increasing your website rankings within the search engines while allowing visitors to understand that you are an expert on the products and services, which you offer.

If you apply the tips, which I have outlined above, you will find your website rankings will improve over a short period. You must continually add to fresh new relevant content to your blog or website, which entices your visitors to want to learn more about your services or products. More visitors to your website equal more potential sales and this is the very reason why you are in business.

Internet Marketing Website

I’ve been working full time online for many years now and one recurring theme I see is that many people are terrified of the idea of putting together their own internet marketing website. They think that they need to be some expert in HTML or something. Not true.

The truth of the matter is that it has never been easier for anyone to set up their very own internet marketing website, and I’ll tell you why that is and how to do it in this article.

I’ve been telling people for several years that if they can read, write and click a mouse button they can put up their own website, and it’s true.

You see more online marketers are putting up websites that are based on the WordPress blog format (I’m not talking about the free WordPress site, just that type of platform). The reason for this is simple; search engines love these types of blogs because they are usually updated with relevant content on a regular basis and that is what search engines really love.

So, here are some basic steps to follow:

1. As I said above you don’t want to do the free version. Instead you want to buy your own domain name and hosting account. So, to find a good domain name one good rule of thumb is to find a keyword phrase in your niche and make that into a domain name.

For example, if your keyword is “cheap bird feeders” than you should try to find the domain name: “CheapBirdFeeders.com”.

Buying your own domain name is only around $10 if you get it for one year. If you find that that site becomes profitable you will want to renew that domain name every year so it doesn’t expire.

2. Now you will need a hosting account. There are many options online, but you should stay with one that has a c-panel and fantastico deluxe. A c-panel is the control panel which gives you access to your hosting account. And fantastico deluxe is a simple to follow, fully automated system that will set up a WordPress blog on your domain name with a few clicks of the mouse.

3. Once your theme is set up you can easily customize it with different themes. There are thousands of theme styles available and most of them are completely free to use. One word of advice though, keep your theme simple. You want your visitors to concentrate on your content not a lot of flashing distractions.

That’s it, those are the basic steps you will need to take to have an online presence. Don’t worry if all of this seems like gibberish right now. Once you start actually doing the steps you will see how easily it all fits into place.

Building your own internet marketing website is easy and inexpensive to do, but it is a vital component to a successful online business. Don’t shy away from this step, like I said, if you can read and write you can do it yourself!

WordPress Marketing-Other Wise Known As WP

Posted by on Oct.13, 2012, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

It used to be you had to know how to write code if you wanted to make a website. Eventually WYSIWYG editors came along to make things much easier, but knowing some code was necessary for all by the simplest sites. Now WordPress (commonly abbreviated as WP) has come along and changed the playing field. Those who want to run a business online refer to it as WordPress marketing, however, this is a bit of a misnomer unless they are actually working to promote WordPress itself. But for the sake of simplicity, when we use that term we will be using it in the more popular sense.

WordPress was originally designed as a blogging platform, and many people still use it that way. There are also a lot of people, especially marketers, who use WP as the foundation for a website that sells things. There are also hybrid sites that combine the best of both worlds. They sort of look like blogs, but they are also set up to make money.

WordPress marketing has a lot to do with setting up your site properly. Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the things that is easy to do with WP. There are several plugins available that can further boost your SEO results. These make your WordPress pages more friendly to the search engines and will raise you in the rankings if you use them properly.

You still need to do many of the same things you would have to do on any webpage. You need to have content that draws people in, and attracts the right kind of attention from the search engines. Links play a big part in SEO; this includes external and internal links. External links are those that are placed on another site. You could actually set up many free WordPress sites and work in links back to your main page. This is a WordPress marketing strategy that many people use successfully.

Internal links work in a different way. These are the links on your site that link to other part of your site (either the same page, or other pages). This linking structure makes a huge difference, and knowing how to set it all up can get a bit confusing. You need to make sure you have a separate page for each piece of keyword-targeted content, and every page should have links to your main pages, as well as any other pages you’re trying to rank for.

If all of that sounds confusing, that’s because it is…or at least it was when you had to hand code everything. You would have to chart everything out and hope you got it right. No need to worry though, there are WP plugins that make most of this virtually automatic. You may have to do set some initial settings and make sure you upgrade as needed, but that’s about it. With all it has going for it, it’s no surprise that more and more savvy website owners are choosing WordPress marketing as a major part of their business.

Using Banner Ads To Attract Traffic

Posted by on Sep.06, 2012, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

Driving traffic to a website can be very challenging and as the internet is always evolving there are new methods appearing all the time. With so many different methods for driving traffic to a website it can become a little overwhelming and confusing.

Using banner ads to promote your website is one method that has proven to be quite popular and effective. You see banner ads everywhere you look online. You see them on personal websites, on blogs, on forums and on search engines. The reason that there are so many banner ads is because the work.

Banner ads are extremely effective and if approached properly can be a low cost form of advertising. When you use banner ads you are making your brand recognisable. If you have a product or service that you are selling then you can create brand recognition for that product or service by using a visual form of advertising like banner ads. When your brand is recognized it becomes more and more popular and the banner ads make it easy for customers to find your website.

Banner ads are targeted toward specific visitors so this helps to reduce the number of people visiting your site that are really not interested in purchasing your product or service anyway. If you are paying each time someone clicks on your ad then you don’t want to be paying for visitors that really aren’t interested in your website. Banner ads are more targeted and reduce the number of uninterested visitors so you don’t pay for clicks that won’t convert into sales. Targeted advertising means more sales and therefore higher profits.

It is recommended to do some keyword research before creating your banner ad to get the best terms and phrases to use in your advertising campaign. If you don’t have relevant terms or phrases then you wont find relevant visitors to send to your site.

Here are some tips to help with effective banner advertising.

1. Make your banner attention grabbing. You have a limited space for your text and logo so use that space effectively and make sure it grabs the attention of potential customers.

2. Use pictures on the ads so that your visitors have a visual of the product. Visual advertising is much more effective than non-visual.

3. Don’t use banners that are over 5k in size. Banners that are too big just make a website look messy and cluttered and they really won’t get you any more traffic than a smaller banner.

4. Make your banner appear professional and not like some kid with a box of crayons has designed it. Don’t use too many different colors or too many different fonts. Plain and simple is often best.

5. Always include a ‘call to action’ on your banner ad. Having a ‘click here ‘statement to tell visitors to click on your ad. Having a call to action increases the click through rate quite a bit.

6. Make your ad motivational so that your visitors will be interested and want to click your ad to find out more. You need to grab their attention and once you have their attention entice them to click on that ad.

7. Always test your banner ads so you know how much traffic is coming through your banners. You must test your links to know how effective your banner is.

If you are looking for an effective way to drive traffic to your website then use these tips and try some banner advertising.

The Benefits of Writing Articles

Posted by on Sep.03, 2012, under Article Marketing No Comments

You have a business; you are new and want to build a client list. However, the public doesn’t know much about you.

One of the best ways to build the relations, credibility and to help get people to know more about you and your area of expertise is to write articles. People are always looking for good articles for their websites, blogs and newsletters. The important words here are good and content.

Good articles are content rich. The help the reader understand that which you are writing about. It gives them insight, whether it is about Business, Communication, Health or any number of subjects.

When you provide an article for your reader, whether you wrote it or published it, you are doing your clients a service by educating them in the areas that they wish to learn. Moreover, your credibility can be built or diminished by the article.

Articles also help to keep your website updated and helped to increase your search engine ratings.

Stagnate websites that never change, get a much lower rating with Google. As well, do not encourage your audience to come back. They are thinking, ok, I saw it.

A summary of the benefits are:

For the author, they:

Increase Exposure
Give Credibility (You show your expertise)

Develop Relations (People get to know you better)

Create links to your site

Give you free Publicity

For the Publisher or Website Owner, it provides:

Content
Related Articles that you dont have to write
Reference and information that you dont have to write
A vast resource of free information

However, it is important to remember that there can be a downside. Of which you can avoid, once you understand what it is.

There is nothing worse than reading an article that is nothing more than a sales letter, a news release or an inflated glorified piece on how wonderful you are. You need to give the public something that they can use.
Then they are much more likely to follow your link in your resource box, back to your site to find out more about you.

Remember, that in each article, you are communication something about you. You want the message that be one that encourages people to want to get to know you better, to learn more about you know and to become one of your clients or subscribers.

In your resource box, make sure you are clear, stating who you are and where they can find out more about you.
Most article directories and magazines have set limits on the size and amount of information you can place so it is important to ensure it is accurate and inviting.

You are not writing articles just for praise and admiration. You do have a business to run and bills to pay. Even if you are a millionaire and want to write just for the shear joy of it and love to teach for free, your resource box is still important, as you would want the readers to know that the information came from a credible source.

So go ahead and get started. Don’t stop at one article, it can easily become buried.. Make it a habit and write them regularly whether it is once a week or once a month. And remember, have fun doing them.
