Making Your Site SEO Friendly-Find Away On Your SEO Site

Making Your Site SEO Friendly-Find Away On Your SEO Site

Having a website doesn’t mean much if nobody sees it. You could have the most awesome website on the planet, but if people don’t visit it, then it’s the same as if it doesn’t exist at all. Making your site SEO friendly increases the chances of your site being seen.

SEO (search engine optimization) covers everything you do to improve your site’s position in the search engines. A large percentage of people find new websites by using a search engine, but they will only go through so many results before visiting a site or trying a new keyword phrase. In fact, the further down your site is listed, the less chance there is that anybody will see it. The difference between the first page of results and the second page is huge. If you want your site to be seen, then you need to do whatever you can to have it listed on the first page of the search engine results.

In theory, SEO is fairly simple: you do a few things to your website and it starts to move higher in the search engine results. While that’s what it boils down to, making your site SEO friendly is a bit more complicated, and can be, at times, quite frustrating if you don’t do it right. The good news is that there are a few relatively easy things that you can start doing right away to help move your site higher up the search engine results.

You need to invest some time researching the best keywords for your website. The best keywords get plenty of searches, have relatively low competition, and also have an action element built into them. There is no magic number for the number of searches any particular keyword should have, and the same applies to the amount of competition (or how the competition is measured). That brings us to the concept of the “action element”, which refers to keywords that show the person searching is already looking to do something related to your site. For example, if you offer a how-to guide on making tutus, then keywords like “tutu patterns” and “how to make tutus” would include a relevant action element, and would therefore make ideal keywords for your site.

There is more to making your site SEO friendly than just choosing the right keywords, though. Having relevant content is also very important. See, search engines make money, ultimately, by having a lot of users, and people flock to the search engines that provide the most relevant results based on their searches. It only makes sense that when you give the search engines what they want, they will give you what you want, which is to appear closer to the top of the results. A good rule of thumb to make sure you are doing this is to write your content for people first, and search engines second.

Keyword Submit- Trial For Two Weeks For Performance

Posted by on Jan.06, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

Once you have your list of keywords you want to use, take the first keyword submit it into your article or ad and post it for a two week trial period. This first two week trial period is a test for that keyword to see how well it performs for you.

Remember, a good keyword will bring you mediocre results, a great keyword will bring you excellent results. make sure your keywords are specific and relevant to your product or service. Sometimes the more specific the better which may mean you should find a keyword phrase or a long-tailed keyword to use.

For example, I know someone who has a site promoting crates for dogs. Instead of just using “dog crates” as her key word she dug a little deeper and found that “wire dog crates” was a better keyword to use because it is a lot more specific. So do not be afraid to dig down a little, or lot, deeper.

If the first keyword you try does well, great. If it does not do well, go down your list and take the next keyword submit that one into your article or ad and do the same thing, post it for a two week trial period, and track the results. Sooner or later you will find one or two keywords that will perform nicely and bring traffic into your website so you can make some conversions.

Once your conversion rate is where you want it and you notice a jump in the sales you make then you know you have optimized your ad and therefore your website. Continue to use that keyword or keyword phrase you have chosen throughout the content on your site. Be careful to not use too much in the content you provide because the search engines consider that keyword stuffing and you will get booted.

Strategically placed keywords are the best way to go. You will get ranked high in the search results and attract a lot of the right attention. Namely, people who are looking for what you are selling.

Your keyword should also be a part of the title of your ad or article. Use your creativity and come up with a catchy title. Then make sure that your article is at least 500 words in length and you have the keyword in the first and last paragraph of your article and once in the body of the article.

Any more than that and the search engines will consider that keyword stuffing like we talked about earlier. You are trying to run a successful business not get booted off the search engines. You must be more careful than ever since Google’s PANDA update.

The PANDA update requires you to provide (and this is going to sound weird) uniquely original or organic content on your site when promoting your product or service. You will no longer be able to just regurgitate someone else’s content.

So, follow all the new rules and just be careful not to over keyword submit into your website content.

Google Keywords Tool Can Improve Your Ads

You can improve your ads ranking on the search results page if you fine relevant keywords to use in your ad by putting the Google keywords tool to good use. When you search for keywords it is best to find keywords that have the highest average cost per click if your budget can handle it.

Google ads are the ones that show up on the right side of the search results page. If you want your ad to rank high on the results pages you have to have a page that is optimized. This how you will get the most traffic to your site.

The Google keywords tool is easy and free to use even if you do not have an active AdWords account. However, you will not have access to the all-important cost-per-click information unless you do have an AdWords account. So your first step is to sign in to AdWords and register. The AdWords account is also free to you.

Once you have an AdWords account then you can start your keyword research by going to the website and typing in a keyword or keyword phrase or the URL for your website into the text box. click the AdWords button then enter the security Captcha then click the search button.

The tool will automatically show you a list of relevant terms you can analyze to find what will work for you. Pay attention to the column that shows the average CPC. This is where you will make your money. Do not choose any keyword that has an average CPC of less than $0.50. These keywords are not worth your time.

The best keywords are those with a CPC higher than $0.50 and a competition of less than 3.00. If you find a keyword that fits these criteria you can try to use it for your ad. You will have to test it to see how it performs out in the marketplace. Pick a keyword and then write your ad. Test each ad, one at a time, for two weeks with a different keyword for every two week trial. Track the results and then try out another keyword for another two weeks

This is a good way to find a niche as well. If you are into niche marketing then you can analyze this keyword further to see if you can find out if a website is available. If there is a website available then you could turn around and buy the domain name. The all you have to do is put up a website and use that keyword to drive traffic to your new site.

If you already have a website and are just trying to drive traffic by placing an ad on Google then you must look at the Local and Global Monthly Search tabs to find out how many people search for that term every month. Obviously, the more people searching for that term the better. Effectively using the Google keywords tool can mean money in the bank for you.

Internet Marketing Website

I’ve been working full time online for many years now and one recurring theme I see is that many people are terrified of the idea of putting together their own internet marketing website. They think that they need to be some expert in HTML or something. Not true.

The truth of the matter is that it has never been easier for anyone to set up their very own internet marketing website, and I’ll tell you why that is and how to do it in this article.

I’ve been telling people for several years that if they can read, write and click a mouse button they can put up their own website, and it’s true.

You see more online marketers are putting up websites that are based on the WordPress blog format (I’m not talking about the free WordPress site, just that type of platform). The reason for this is simple; search engines love these types of blogs because they are usually updated with relevant content on a regular basis and that is what search engines really love.

So, here are some basic steps to follow:

1. As I said above you don’t want to do the free version. Instead you want to buy your own domain name and hosting account. So, to find a good domain name one good rule of thumb is to find a keyword phrase in your niche and make that into a domain name.

For example, if your keyword is “cheap bird feeders” than you should try to find the domain name: “CheapBirdFeeders.com”.

Buying your own domain name is only around $10 if you get it for one year. If you find that that site becomes profitable you will want to renew that domain name every year so it doesn’t expire.

2. Now you will need a hosting account. There are many options online, but you should stay with one that has a c-panel and fantastico deluxe. A c-panel is the control panel which gives you access to your hosting account. And fantastico deluxe is a simple to follow, fully automated system that will set up a WordPress blog on your domain name with a few clicks of the mouse.

3. Once your theme is set up you can easily customize it with different themes. There are thousands of theme styles available and most of them are completely free to use. One word of advice though, keep your theme simple. You want your visitors to concentrate on your content not a lot of flashing distractions.

That’s it, those are the basic steps you will need to take to have an online presence. Don’t worry if all of this seems like gibberish right now. Once you start actually doing the steps you will see how easily it all fits into place.

Building your own internet marketing website is easy and inexpensive to do, but it is a vital component to a successful online business. Don’t shy away from this step, like I said, if you can read and write you can do it yourself!

How Building A Website Can Get Free Traffic

Posted by on Aug.24, 2012, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

If you have a website then you need to have visitors coming to that site. After all, what is the point of having a website if nobody sees it and a website certainly won’t make any money if there are no visitors. Getting traffic to your website however can be difficult. One method for driving traffic to a site is to use the search engines to your advantage. If your site ranks highly in the search engines then you can receive a lot of free traffic to your site. Let’s take a look at how to create a website to gain free traffic.

Firstly you want to choose your topic wisely and you can get ideas from magazines, television, books, newsletters and even from your competitors.

Once you have decided on your topic you will then need to do some keyword research to find what keywords and phrases people are searching for in the search engines. You don’t want to only target the main keyword for your niche, but find some long tail keyword phrases that people are searching for.

You can use a free tool like Google Keyword Tool to find out how many searches a particular keyword phrase will get per month and this tool will also give you other keyword suggestions.

When you have found some good keywords that have a lot of searches every month you then want to study the competition for those keyword phrases. You can search the keyword phrase in Google and look at the top ten websites for that phrase. Try to choose keyword phrases with websites in the top ten that you think you can outrank. You can also look at the design of these websites and how they have created the sites and use that information as you decide how to set up your own site. You don’t want to copy another website but you can get some ideas from other sites.

When you have chosen your keyword phrases you then need to start writing some articles and include your keyword phrases in the article. You can write an article for each keyword phrase that you found. If you like you can even add an affiliate link to promote a product relating to your niche. When you promote products in your niche just be careful that your articles aren’t too promotional, you want to be subtle and include a subtle link to your site.

Next you will build your website and add your articles to the site. Create a page for each keyword phrase that you are targeting. Remember when you create your site and your pages to try some techniques that your competitors are using.

Include your keywords within the title of your page and also include them in the ALT tags of the site. You can also use images in your article as this makes the article more interesting for your readers. An interesting website is one that will have return visitors.

For each keyword phrase that you researched you create a new page with a new article and you can then try to rank each page for its given keyword phrase. Use the same layout and method as the first page on your other pages including the keyword in the title.

If you fill your website with good quality information then Google will index your site and rank it. The more quality content you add to your site the more the search engines will favor it.

Once you have content on your site you will need to spend some time promoting your site and building some backlinks to it. The search engines also favor websites that have good quality backlinks to it. All this hard work will give you high rankings over time and when your site starts to rank highly you will begin to see a lot of free traffic.

It will take time for the search engines to rank your site highly and the more work that you put into that site the better the ranking will be. When you put the effort into each page for those different keyword phrases then you can have a site that ranks highly for multiple keyword phrases which will increase the traffic quite a bit.
