Internet Marketing Business-Earn Your Income On Internet

Posted by on Mar.02, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

Starting an online business can be a great way to rid yourself of the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. You can build up your own business, manage it as you see fit and make all the money you will ever need. However starting an internet marketing business is not a simple task.

People often have this notion that an online business is some quick way to get cash and it really is not. An online business is much the same as an offline one. You need to take the time and effort to build it up, to make it successful.

If all you are doing it setting it up and abandoning it, it will never make you the money you want. However if you tend to it properly, keep working at it and allow it to grow, it will provide you with a rather substantial and consistent stream of income.

In order to make your business a success, you need the knowledge. As motivated as you are, you can not do it on will alone. So to help you in this regard there are several tips to guide you.

1. Be focused. When working on your internet marketing business you may be excited and want to do everything at once so you can make money. This is the wrong approach and will only slow you down. Instead of trying to do everything at once, make yourself a check list and just go down that, completing each task in succession.

2. Be resourceful. This goes hand in hand with learning new things. On your way to building up your business you will hit roadblocks and other problems, finding ways to overcome these obstacles is important if you want to succeed. Always keep on the look out for new methods and new ideas that can help you.

3. Fresh content. On your website you need to keep a steady flow of new, unique, and fresh content to make it grow. Websites get assigned a page on google searches depending on a lot of factors, one of which being the content and quality of the website. If you just let your website sit it will fall in the ranks and you will not get any traffic.

4. Offer a free service. In order to entice your visitors you need to offer them a sample. They will not buy anything unless they know it is worth buying, so offering them a free sample of your product is important. It should not be anything too major but some good examples are an e-book on your product’s niche, or other helpful information.

You want to give them enough to wet their appetite and leave them wanting the full product.

This is all just the very tip of the iceberg when dealing with an internet marketing business so you will still have to go out and search for more information, however these tips will give you an idea of what you need to know and what to look for to help you on your road to success.

Overture Search Words- Yahoo Tool

Posted by on Feb.01, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

The Overture search term tool was bought out by Yahoo! in 2003 and is now referred to as Yahoo Marketing Solutions. Overture was one of the first pay-for-placement companies out there. Basically this is what pay-per-click evolved from.

The reason the Overture search term tool is no longer with us is the fact that when the Internet changed the way they did things, Overture did not keep up with those changes and if not for Yahoo!, Overture would have gone by way of the dinosaur.

Yahoo has revamped the entire Overture system and made it so much better. Now, not only can you find keywords to use for your SEO but you can also place ads and manage when and where those ads get seen.

As with all pay-per-click ads you only pay when your ad gets clicked on and not for every time it is shown. Pay-per-click is still a very effective way to drive traffic to your website. The more people you attract to your website the more possible it is to convert them into paying customers.

The secret to attracting potential paying customers to your site is to use specifically targeted keywords. You do this by first, figuring out who you audience will be and that is determined basically, by the product you are selling or the service you are offering.

Build the ad you post on to the search engine around your specifically targeted keyword. Use it in the title and make the title intriguing so they want to click through to your website to check out what you are offering them.

To get started doing all of this you must sign up at “searchmarketing.yahoo.com”. Make sure you have your PPC budget all worked out and available to start using. Yahoo will give you a $25 credit just for signing up.

You will be directed to choose the US and Canada or other areas of the world. If you choose other countries make sure you take into consideration the language barrier. Now you will be directed to search for keywords.

The best way to search for keywords is to think about what words your customers would use when they search for your product or service. Then click the box that will direct you to a list of related keywords then price them out.

The pricing area is where you will tell Yahoo what your spending limit is. Once you give Yahoo your budget the tool will estimate a maximum bid amount so you get the maximum number of clicks for the keywords you are using. The tool will also estimate the number of impressions and clicks you can expect at that bid amount.

Overture Search For Keywords

Posted by on Jan.30, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

If you want to optimize your Overture search for keywords that are relevant to your product or service. You can use any one of the free keyword search tools available to you like Inventory Overture or you can go to Google and use theirs. Nichebot is the other main keyword search tool you can use to get your keywords.

Overture ads are the ones you see on the top or left side of the results page when you do a search on the Yahoo! search engine. Getting your Overture search optimized will make sure that your ad is placed on the results page where those people will see it. Overture is pay-per-click just like those on the top or right side of the Google search results pages.

If you want to get noticed and get traffic to your site you must make sure your ad performs well for you. This is called optimization and it may take some time and energy on your part but if you find a great keyword, write a great ad, and do the testing on that ad and keyword for two weeks you will be able to track how it does and if you need to make some changes or not.

Your best bet is to find a number of keywords and then pick two and test them one after the other keeping track of how they perform then introduce another and test that one agaiinst the better of the first two. Here is where the time aspect comes in. If you do not have the time to do this yourself then hire someone like an SEO expert to do it for you. They may even have some other suggestions for you regarding optimization as well.

After you find good keywords then you need to write your ad. The headline of your ad is what your potential customers see first so try to make it interesting. Be creative, the headline is the underlined part of the ad that your potential customers will click on so they can get to your website. You need to write a headline that stands out from the crowd so you get the most click throughs to your website and hopefully the most sales.

Make sure that the keyword you chose is used in the ad you write. One keyword per ad is the best way to go so you can do that testing we talked about earlier. Each ad should be run for two weeks. Track the results of each ad you place and make note which one works the best for you then stick with that keyword.

Never stop looking for keywords to use in your ads. You may have found a good one that get a decent amount of traffic but you just never know when you might find one that will break the bank. You can only make sales if you get traffic to your website. Writing an interesting ad with a great keyword will get you the traffic you need.

Optimizing your Overture search will help get traffic to your site and if you keep track of how those keywords work then you will see which keyword gets you more click throughs and turns those click throughs into conversions. Conversions are the people who go to your site and buy what you are selling.

Keyword Submit- Trial For Two Weeks For Performance

Posted by on Jan.06, 2013, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

Once you have your list of keywords you want to use, take the first keyword submit it into your article or ad and post it for a two week trial period. This first two week trial period is a test for that keyword to see how well it performs for you.

Remember, a good keyword will bring you mediocre results, a great keyword will bring you excellent results. make sure your keywords are specific and relevant to your product or service. Sometimes the more specific the better which may mean you should find a keyword phrase or a long-tailed keyword to use.

For example, I know someone who has a site promoting crates for dogs. Instead of just using “dog crates” as her key word she dug a little deeper and found that “wire dog crates” was a better keyword to use because it is a lot more specific. So do not be afraid to dig down a little, or lot, deeper.

If the first keyword you try does well, great. If it does not do well, go down your list and take the next keyword submit that one into your article or ad and do the same thing, post it for a two week trial period, and track the results. Sooner or later you will find one or two keywords that will perform nicely and bring traffic into your website so you can make some conversions.

Once your conversion rate is where you want it and you notice a jump in the sales you make then you know you have optimized your ad and therefore your website. Continue to use that keyword or keyword phrase you have chosen throughout the content on your site. Be careful to not use too much in the content you provide because the search engines consider that keyword stuffing and you will get booted.

Strategically placed keywords are the best way to go. You will get ranked high in the search results and attract a lot of the right attention. Namely, people who are looking for what you are selling.

Your keyword should also be a part of the title of your ad or article. Use your creativity and come up with a catchy title. Then make sure that your article is at least 500 words in length and you have the keyword in the first and last paragraph of your article and once in the body of the article.

Any more than that and the search engines will consider that keyword stuffing like we talked about earlier. You are trying to run a successful business not get booted off the search engines. You must be more careful than ever since Google’s PANDA update.

The PANDA update requires you to provide (and this is going to sound weird) uniquely original or organic content on your site when promoting your product or service. You will no longer be able to just regurgitate someone else’s content.

So, follow all the new rules and just be careful not to over keyword submit into your website content.

Google Keyword Research

Posted by on Dec.23, 2012, under Affiliate Marketing No Comments

When you do Google keyword research there is a wonderful keyword tool that they have for you to use. Their keyword tool lets you wade through a whole database of words and phrases to help you find your niche and the best keyword to put to use for that niche.

Not only can you find the best keywords to use to bring traffic to your site you can also research statistics of that keyword to see how many searches it gets every month. The best keyword is one with little competition and a high search volume.

This may take some time but sometimes, if you look long and hard enough, you might just find a keyword that will be just like finding a little nugget of gold good enough to bring you all the riches you desire.

Here is what you do:

Open a new tab on your browser and go to the Google keyword research tool located at “adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.” Type in the keyword you want to start with then type in the captcha letters and lick the search button.

What will come up is a list of related words and phrases the tool generates for you to choose from. Like I said choose a keyword or phrase that has low competition and a high search volume. Picking one that has a high competition will not allow you to rank high on the search results pages.

Now, when you find one that you think is a good one, check how your keyword for trending. Put your mouse over the keyword or phrase and then click on the spyglass icon. Google Trends will show you when, during the entire year, your search term is the most popular.
This is a great feature if you have picked a niche that is seasonal.

The next thing you should do is go to Google and type your chosen keyword into the search bar. How many ads do you see on the right hand side of the results page? If there are less than five then you should keep looking for another keyword to use. Less than five means that this is probably not a good niche because no one is searching for it.

If there are five or more ads on the right hand side of the results page then you are golden and this is a keyword you should keep and use.

The keyword tool will also show you how much your keyword is making per click. The average CPC for a good keyword is anything above $0.50 per click. You want to make money right? Then pick your keywords carefully and make sure that they have a higher CPC.

Google keyword research tool was the basis of another company’s study on the top 20 highest CPC keywords. “Insurance” tops that list of keywords with over 24% of all keywords used and a CPC of over $47. That is absolutely insane! You would probably never find a good keyword to use in that niche but if you did, WOW! You would be laughing all the way to the bank.
